We are a group of Brentwood neighbors who came together after the 2025 L.A. Fires to help our community—and others like it—be better prepared for future emergencies.
What started as a local effort has grown into a grassroots initiative focused on connection, education, and resilience. We partner with local fire and law enforcement, CERT, and emergency response experts to bring practical resources and training to neighborhoods. Our mission is simple: when neighbors are informed and united, everyone is safer.
In an emergency, seconds count—and preparation can save lives. Many people don’t know where to start or assume help will arrive immediately. This site exists to change that by giving neighbors the tools, knowledge, and connections they need to act quickly and confidently. When communities are informed and prepared, they’re stronger, safer, and more resilient.
We’re working to connect with other communities facing similar risks and challenges, sharing resources and strategies that work. As we grow, we’re looking for neighbors who want to step up as local leaders—helping organize, communicate, and build resilience at the block and neighborhood level. Together, we can create a network of prepared communities that support each other before, during, and after a crisis.
